LHC Gas System M&O (Homepage)
For the LHC operation phase, the DT group has taken the responsibilities to maintain & operate the LHC detector gas systems. This includes preventive and corrective maintenance on 26 LHC gas systems and a 24h piquet service during the LHC operation periods.
General Gas Support
DT provides gas support for Fixed Target experiments and test beams. this service prepares and gives access to 'Standard Gas Racks' (equiped with Rotameters) which can be used to mix and distribute gases to detectors.
Furthermore, we can propose possibilities for in-house Mass-Flow-Meter calibration or some limited support for gas analysis.
