CMS Tracker (TOB)

The DT main contribution to the CMS Tracker is the mechanics and integration of the Tracker Outer Barrel (TOB) completely made of Silicon strip detectors, and completed in 2006. During 2007 and 2008 the group participated in the integration of the Tracker, its installation and services connections inside the CMS experiment. The current activities comprise the completion of the ‘as built’ technical data of the CMS Tracker, and development and testing of CO2 based cooling for the future Tracker upgrades.
