ALICE TPC Field Cage

We have developed over many years of activity a wide range of competences and expertises in gaseous detector R&D, design, construction and operation, mainly in the field of charged particles tracking and identification.
In the recent years, we have been in charge of the design and construction of the field cage for the ALICE Time Projection Chamber, the largest TPC ever built.
Our responsibility also includes the TPC installation and manipulation in the ALICE experiment as well as the long term maintenance.
