Irradiation Tests (Homepage)

The irradiation facilities in the PS East Hall belong to the common projects of the PH department. PH-DT-DI provides the maintenance and constant upgrade of these facilities as well as dedicated irradiation experiments. Three kind of irradiations are provided: (a) 24 GeV/c proton irradiations (b) Irradiations in a mixed field (mainly 1 MeV neutrons) (c) Organization/Coordination of irradiations outside of CERN (e.g. 300 MeV/c pions, reactor neutrons,...)
