In addition to the T1 and T2 detectors TOTEM comprises a total of 24 silicon tracking stations housed in so-called Roman Pots. We are dealing with the complex integration of the Silicon sensors in the Roman Pots. Issues like geometrical precision, heat evacuaction, electrical supply and signal extraction are being addressed. The activity concerns also the RP mechanics and its instrumentation (motors, switches, controls, etc,). The first 12 full detector modules have been installed to be installed in the tunnel for the first pp collissions! We are currently assembling the remaining 12 (+spares) detectors for installation during the LHC shutdown in 2010/11.
